Tools and architecture advice

Through tools and architecture advice, I help you choose AI models, suppliers and an architecture that fit your systems, team, security needs and budget. You get a comparison of realistic options, a recommended approach and a decision record your team can act on.

Is this right for you?

Who this is for, and who it isn't.

A good fit if

  • You are choosing between AI providers, models or platforms
  • You need to decide whether to build, buy or combine both
  • Your team needs an architecture for a new AI capability that will connect to existing systems

Probably not the right fit if

  • You have not yet confirmed the idea is worth pursuing: start with a Project viability review
  • You need a broad review of an existing system: see Architecture and system review
What you get

A practical result, not just a conversation.

01

Options and trade-off comparison

Realistic options compared on capability, cost, control, security and effort.

02

Recommended architecture

How the chosen approach fits your existing systems and data.

03

Supplier and integration questions

The questions to ask vendors before you sign, and the integration work to plan for.

04

Decision record

A short written record of what was decided and why, so the reasoning is not lost.

How it works

Three stages, agreed up front.

Stage 1

Define the requirement

You and I agree what the capability needs to do and the constraints that matter.

Stage 2

Compare options

I assess the viable options against your systems, team and budget.

Stage 3

Decide and record

I agree a recommendation with you and document it for your team.

Common questions

Before you get in touch.

How much does tools and architecture advice cost?

Reviews are scoped after a short initial conversation and are usually fixed-price. The price depends on how many tools, projects or systems are in scope and how much information is already available, so you know the cost before work starts.

Do you have a preferred AI provider?

I recommend the provider and model that fit the job, considering quality, cost, data handling and integration requirements. The published FewzenAI WhatsApp project used OpenAI.

Should we build or buy?

Buy when an existing product does the job well enough and the data and cost terms are acceptable. Build when the capability is central to your product, needs deep integration with your systems, or off-the-shelf options create too much cost or lock-in.
